On January 30, 2025, a strategic session was held in Moscow, organized by the Moscow Region Foreign Economic Activity Support Fund, discussing new opportunities for increasing exports to China. Over 30 participants attended the event, including the Librederm brand, key exporters, export-oriented enterprises, as well as representatives from regional management and government authorities.
The main goal of the session was to form initiatives and directions for future work on export projects to China, including the “Moscow Region-Xi’an” project. During the event, participants actively exchanged ideas and proposals aimed at developing trade relations with China, made possible by the constructive dialogue between business and government structures.
At the beginning of the session, Timur Andreyevich Kornilov, Vice President for Export Programs at Synergy Corporation, emphasized the importance of creating a product that benefits both exporters and session participants. Adil Ravilovich Gantsov, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Science of the Moscow Region, presented the current state and prospects for increasing exports to China, providing an important context for further discussions.
Special attention was given to new logistical opportunities in the Moscow Region. Regina Alexeyevna Sivkova, Director of the KTZ Express branch, presented innovative transportation and digital routes to China via Kazakhstan.
During the team work session, participants discussed in detail the actions needed to regularly launch a new project for the supply of products from small and medium-sized enterprises to Xi’an. As a result of the brainstorming session, each team identified their top three actions and selected key clusters for further work.
The event also included an analysis of the key risks associated with the proposed actions and the development of recommendations for minimizing those risks. Participants actively worked on the necessary support measures at both the federal and regional levels.
The result of the strategic session was the development of ideas for minimizing risks and a clear understanding of the necessary support measures, laying the foundation for the successful implementation of export projects and strengthening the Moscow Region’s position in the Chinese market.
