Russian-Chinese EXPO 2024: Success of the Russian Cosmetic Brand Librederm

The VIII Russian-Chinese EXPO, held from May 17 to 21, 2024, in Harbin, showcased the strengthening economic ties between Russia and China.

At the VIII Russian-Chinese EXPO, organized with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, and the People’s Government of Heilongjiang Province, Russian brands presented a variety of products that attracted Chinese consumers. Among the participants, the cosmetic brand Librederm drew special attention by showcasing its products, which were highly popular among visitors.

The opening ceremony of the EXPO was marked by the participation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Vice Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Han Zheng. The distinguished guests jointly toured the exhibition, emphasizing the importance and significance of the event for both nations.

In the Russian section of the exhibition, spanning over 3.5 thousand square meters, 36 stands were displayed. Over the five days, more than 300 thousand people visited the exhibition, including more than 2 thousand participants from Russia. The stand of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) was particularly popular, indicating high interest in Russian brands and their products in China.

Librederm, one of Russia’s leading cosmetic brands, presented its new and well-loved products at the exhibition. Visitors to the EXPO showed great interest in Librederm’s products, noting their quality and effectiveness. Chinese bloggers and streamers actively covered the brand’s products, contributing to the increased recognition and popularity of Russian cosmetics among Chinese consumers.

Mikhail Makarov, Director of the International Relations Office of ASI, expressed satisfaction with the results of the participation of Russian brands in the exhibition: “Russian brands are truly interesting to China. We see this by the high attendance at our stand and the recognition. The products of Russian companies are considered the best in various provinces of China – it is pleasant to see them on many stands, they are known and loved. Chinese bloggers and streamers were keenly covering the products of our manufacturers. Russian products are in demand, attracting the attention of Chinese consumers. I am confident that such events strengthen the relations between our countries and truly bring them closer.”

The participation of Librederm and other Russian companies in such a significant event as the Russian-Chinese EXPO demonstrates the growing interest in Russian products abroad and contributes to the strengthening of business ties between Russia and China. It is important to continue supporting and developing such initiatives so that Russian brands continue to gain recognition and love from international consumers.
